Plans

The Notary eJournal offers simplified subscription options that are easy to understanding. We will detail the different plans or stages below

Trial Account

All new accounts start as a trial. Trial accounts are free, and have full access to all of our features on both the web-app and the mobile apps. The only restrictions are as follows;

  1. Trial accounts restrict access after 14 days or

  2. After you create 5 entries, whichever comes first.

We do not require a credit card when creating a new trial account because we want people to have a chance to experience our product risk-free.

You can upgrade to a paid subscription at any point during or after your trial period. In order to upgrade, log in to app.juratinc.com and head over to the subscription section from the left navigation bar.

What happens to your trial account after it expires?

No action is needed if you do not wish to upgrade to an active subscription. You will not be charged automatically at the end of the trial.

Once your trial expires (which happens after 14 days or you create 5 entries) you will lose access to the mobile app and only retain access to the web-app. Further, you will lose access to create new entries as well as view/export existing entries. In order to regain full access to your account and entries, simply upgrade to an active subscription at any time.

Your entries will not be deleted at any point, regardless of the status of your subscription. For example, if you create 5 entries during your trial period but decide not to upgrade to an active subscription, you will lose access to the mobile app and all view/export/create functionality in the web-app, but your data and entries will remain securely stored on our encrypted servers. You can regain access to your account and entries at any point by upgrading to an active subscription.

Active Subscription

Once you upgrade to a paid subscription, you are considered to have an active subscription with access to all available features of The Notary eJournal. We do not restrict access to the product based on subscription tiers, and do not tier the product usage in any manner. You can create unlimited new entries, drafts, etc.

Monthly & Yearly Subscription Options

Monthly

The monthly plan costs $19 per month, and is billed monthly. The monthly billing cycle renews 7 days prior to the end of billing cycle to account for any issues with your payment method. This is because you temporarily lose access to your journal data if your account is not in good standing, and you must bring your account back into good standing in order to regain full access of your account.

For example, if you upgraded your trail account to a monthly subscription on January 16th, your payment for the following month would be debited on February 9th. And don't worry, you don't lose out on those 7 days; they are a grace period to ensure your account remains in good standing. If you were to cancel your account on January 16th, you would have access to all of the features through February 16th (not the renewal date of February 9th)

Yearly

The yearly plan costs $14 per month, billed annually. This amounts to a charge of $168 per year, and is billed in one single invoice. The yearly billing cycle renews 14 days prior to the end of the billing cycle to account for any issues with your payment method. This is because you temporally lose access to your journal data if your account is not in good standing.

For example, if you upgraded from a trial account to a yearly subscription on February 22nd, your payment for the following year would be debited on February 8th.

No Active Subscription

Users who are no longer in their trial period and do not have an active subscription are considered to have no active subscription. In these cases, your data and entries will remain safe but you will not be able to access/view/export them. You will also lose access to the mobile apps, and can only log in to the website at app.juratinc.com. In order to access your entries and regain all functionality of your account, simply log in to app.juratinc.com and upgrade to an active subscription (You will always be able to log in to app.juratinc.com regardless of your subscription status)
